Best of the West

Mae Markham (Dixie Carter) is a bandit who comes back to town to retrieve the money she and her gang buried. She poses as a widow, but the Marshall "recalls something about her" and attempts to lift her veil, resulting in Mae's pulling a gun on him. The Marshall's female deputy saves the day; that is, until the Marshall attempts to bring Mae to another town (since his town wants to lynch her) and she continuously escapes him based on her smarts, feminine wiles, and his "stupidity" -- much to the relief of his wife.
